"Palettes for the Senses" is a cross disciplinary exhibition featuring art work by HEDGE Gallery represented artists and signature scents curated by Ann Onusko Bouterse, owner of Indigo Perfumery in Lakewood, Ohio. The exhibition includes  11 installations, paintings, and multi media pieces, that can be interpreted from both olfactory and visual arts perspectives. This immersive experience transcends sensory borders while exploring scent as a creative but unseen medium.

Visitors will have the opportunity to visit a series of smelling and viewing stations in the Gallery. Each piece of art will be accompanied by glass domes that are lifted to sniff the fragrances, allowing viewers to investigate the visual art while experiencing an olfactory interpretation, highlighting the awareness of scent and its increasing presence as a design element.

HEDGE Gallery artists represented in the exhibition are Rebecca Cross, Matthew Gallagher, Meghann Hennan, Christopher Kier, David Masters, Liz Maugans, Brian Mouhlas, Jessica Pinsky, Katy Richards, Dott von Schneider and Nikki Woods.

The Preview Party is $15 per ticket, which includes appetizers from Luxe Kitchen and Lounge and infusion cocktails. The Preview Party allows viewers to expereince the new art work from HEDGE Gallery represented artists along with the signature scents during a private viewing. Ann Bouterse will be present to discuss scent creation and how she curated each scent with the art.
