“Black Line Whtie Lie Exhibtion and Book Signing” featuring an appearance by Derek Hess

Derek Hess, the 46-year-old Cleveland artist who became world renowned for his heavy-metal fearlessness and deft command of human anatomy, will be signing his long overdue book of 275 black and white drawings at legation a gallery. "Black Lie White Line" collects 20 years' worth of Hess' drawings, from rough sketches to finished products.

The Coast is Never Clear is a new body of work by sculpture and installation artist, Annie Stimson, which speaks to the fear and uncertainty of our present state and unknown future. Ideas of ritual, alchemy, history, and science present themselves in works that delicately and beautifully hint at the trepidation the future may hold and perhaps what our role in it might be.

“Climbing through the Keyhole” featuring new works by Oliver

Legation, a gallery presents Oliver, a local emerging artist and designer. Oliver recently moved to Lakewood, Ohio from Savannah, Georgia where she completed her BFA in Illustration and Printmaking at Savannah College of Art & Design (SCAD). Her newest works are on paper, and also include three-dimensional interactive creations.
