KERO JOHANNES

I was an artistically driven kid that grew up in a suburb of Cleveland, Ohio. The moment I took my first ceramic class I was in love and couldn't put down the stuff. I received my BFA in ceramics and a minor in textiles from Kent State University in 2015. Directly after, I participated in a year long residency in Cincinnati, Ohio where I explored why I make pottery and who I make it for. Once the residency was over I moved back to Cleveland and jumped right back into a studio practice.
