My 30-in round oil and acrylic on canvas painting explorers ideas about moms and servitude. In

the world of my mind there are rainbows with wishes and dreams at the end of them. As a mom

that gives her whole self when taking care of my kids and family, I sometimes feel like I am

giving away pieces of my life to lengthen their lives. There is so much pressure on mom's in

society to be perfect caregivers and still show up as perfect flowers in life. The brightly colored

rainbows on my canvas lead to symbols of some of my dreams and wishes. My goal in this

painting is to have people feel the beautiful struggle of managing being a mom and still being

yourself.
