Will Grimm is a fiber artist whose work examines identity and lived experience through the language of textiles. Rooted in the traditions of stitching, dyeing, and weaving, his practice emphasizes improvisational techniques and labor-intensive processes that center personal storytelling and material intuition. His work reflects a deep engagement with themes of time, memory, and the emotional resonance of materials. Grimm’s practice is anchored in a belief that textiles are not only vessels for safety, but also powerful tools for reflection, connection, and community; he often refers to his pieces as diary entries.
